The Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) and the Dee Stadium Donation Center are both moving to the former JCPenney location in the Copper Country Mall (rear entrance) effective tomorrow, June 30.

The VRC is open today, June 29, until 5 p.m. at the church, and will be open in its new location from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The Donation Center at the Dee will close at 4 p.m. today. As of now, there is no plan to be open this weekend. Those with needs are asked to get their supplies by 4 p.m. today. If a need arises over the weekend, call (906) 233-6621.

Anyone who could use help is reminded to call (906) 233-6621. Volunteers are eager to assist you.

There is still a need for volunteers. The work is transitioning from debris removal to refurbishing houses impacted by the flood.

Evangel Baptist Church and Dee Stadium, who have supported these vital recovery efforts since the flood on June 17, will be resuming their regular operations tomorrow, June 30.

Hours of operations and other updates will be posted to coppercountrystrong.com as they’re finalized.
